Roberta Bondar Collection
In 2002, the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library Archives received a donation of papers from Dr. Roberta Lynn Bondar. This collection follows her career with the Canadian Space Agency and her flight aboard the shuttle Discovery in 1992. Included in this collection are photographs, training manuals, press releases and magazine and newspaper articles. There are also cards and letters of congratulations as well as information on her many speaking engagements following her space flight. An inventory of these items is available at the Information Desk at the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library and the items can be requested from the archives for study.
